Well I have always been a man who believes in admitting his mistakes and boy did I make a bad one. First of all let me describe myself. I am 6'-2" and a very fat 310lbs. I decided back in the summer of 08 to buy my first Harley(08 street glide, crimson red sunglow). I chromed it out at the time of purchase and even though it did not feel just right at the time of purchase I foolishly thought I could make it fit me. I relocated the floorboards and bought the tallboy seat, but I still felt cramped on the bike. Well since I did not feel as comfortable on the bike as I wanted I sold it to a family member since it fit them better than me. I since decide to save my money to buy my retirement home in FL. Now I have gone to the local Houston harley dealer and sat on a 2011 Road Glide Custom. WOW, this bike fit like a glove. The only mods would be moving the floorboards forwad a bit and out. But the rest of the bike felt great. So the problem is my wife will kill me if I try to buy another bike as I am still working on paying off the old one, and trying to buy my retirement house. So we will see how things go, but the RG custom is my dream bike and hopefully someday will be a reality.
You are the ONLY PERSON who ever wanted to buy another bike after the one you have was finished...lol. You never get over having a Harley. I'm sure the wife will understand and get over it...in 10-15 years!!
did you say your still working on paying off the old one? did you sell it to someone for less than you owed? if this is the case, stay out of the Harley dealer until that is paid for

Sounds like if you buy a new bike, you better buy a double plot.......for you and your bike!
YEP, sold it to my sister for 12K since it was sitting in the garage and not being riding enough. I have actually thought about the double plot since I do like the 2011's luckily I am paying off the old bike with double payments and also the exra mony my sis is sending.
