I have looked at these briefly. Kind of a toss up between something like that and doing a removable batwing fairing like the dragonfly? Just putting 16"s on the bike now, so they may be a bit much with a fairing maybe? Be kind of nice on the long trips to have a little more protection. I love the versatility of the Road King though, going from stripped down to road trippin.......good luck on your decision. Let us know what you decide?
My buddy just added a set of these to his front crash bar, he has an Alpine amp and 6X9's integrated into his stretched bags, all connected to his iPod, the sound from the front speakers is decent. Looks like they use the chrome HD passing lamp housing which matches the stock ones, the setup looks & sounds clean.
I did the cyclesound setup & its great! I didn't think I'd like having those little "pods" on my handlebars, but they really aren't that noticeable, since I have a tach up there also. And like others have said, I like taking of my windshield now & then, so this or earbuds was my option. (and I did the earbuds thing last year)
