Well ok then, if it gives you piece of mind, you just keep right on paying premium prices for generic parts at the Hundred Dolla store.

No offense taken. My time is more valuble then running around trying to find a 95 cent o-ring when I change my oil.
If I have a bag of them, say 25-100 it will save me time. Same with oil and filters, buy in bulk and save time.

I do appreciate the feedback and the part #'s.

Well, let's see. So far the all of the o-rings that came on my 2005 model is still working, 83,000+ miles. So if I had 25, and they each went 80,000 miles, how many miles would my o-ring inventory be good for? Hhhhmmm.........

Forgot the ring number though. I keep a bag of fifty in the shop and replace them on every fluid change.
I buy Vitron rings bulk from Harbor Freight.

That's the ones I got. About 16 cents each, plus shipping divided by 50. Pretty cheap. They're viton and mil-spec. They ought to be plenty good. They'll last me a long time.

A couple of times I had to make another trip to the dealer because I forgot to get the O rings when I got my filter.
