I've seen somewhere on line that a company can seal your spoke rim. I had a custom spoke rim. I cleaned it very good & used the silver GE Silicone sealant & put a few coats on. You can't put it on thick or it won't dry. I never had a problem. The only problem is when you tighten your spokes, which I never had.
Generally, an oriental tube will "star-crack", or split, and a Euro tube is better rubber and will just puncture and not loose pressure all at once. You have a better chance of Fix-a-flat working. That being said, I haven't had a flat on the road for over 25 years. I inspect my rims every tire change (several times per year) and don't let the tread get too thin. Now I have AAA, a cell phone, and good karma.
Ride Wright seals their spokes in the same fashion. They offer a lifetime warranty on their sealed spoked rims as well. If the spokes have to be trued the sealant will quite often have to be redone as well. They even allow their wheels to sit sith the tires mounted for 24 hours to ensure it is holding the air pressure before shipping them.

Drew, elaborate please. Web site if you don't mind...
Changed more tubes than I can remember on all the dirtbikes, sporty and fxr, both on the side of the road and in the garage. To do it on the side of the road is one hell of a battle.
Short of sealing the spokes and running tubeless, there is no eay way to run spokes with a quick fix for a easy flat out on the road, your chances of repairing a punctured tube with a can a fix a flat are slim.
Wish it was different, I love spokes too! But I gave'em up to run mags out on the road for the ease of repairing a "clean puncture" and be able to keep rolling.
I'm sure it would be very costly but why hasn't someone made a mag wheel that looks exactly like a spoke wheel? I would think with the cnc machines it would be possible especially fat spokes and never need the spokes tightened.
I sealed my laced wheels with an aircraft pressure deck sealant. I sealed the rubber band onto the rim so the spokes can be adjusted without breaking the seal. That's the theory anyway.
