What Happened? I was just looking!
Went with a friend to pick up his new 2011 Streetglide in Union City TN. Did some walking around - "No thanks, Danny, just looking". Famous last words - saw a interesting 2011 Limited with several goodies - complete gauge trim package, chrome radio trim and fairing switches trim, Nostalgic driver floorboard covers, brake pedal, etc.. - chrome passenger floorboard covers, chrome handlebar switch covers, chrome mastercylinder cover,ride-off center stand, illuminated fairing accent trim, upgraded pipes, tour-pak brake light chrome accent covers, rk classic fender skirt, B&S Logo front fender spear, chrome front axle billet nut covers, Stage 1 HD air cleaner kit, HD led taillamp, rear speaker trim, upgraded front speakers with tweeters, Kuryakyn trim on saddlebags and tourpak, fancy footpegs, chrome headbolt bridge,and finally (I think), Harley's new Harley's NEW LED headlamp and passing lamps. So you see, I'm thinking, Abernathy's HD has really loaded this thing up with options - they have spent a ton on it. About that time the gen mgr, Ken, walks up and says "nice bike, and it has the screaming eagle race tuner and SE 255 cams. The PREVIOUS OWNER loaded it up, and it was too big for him. Traded it in on a 2011 Heritage Softtail Classic". So I turn the switch on, and the miles are 4041! Not a scratch on it, 4 months old!!! How much - 24,000.00 - can I test ride it - take off - IMPRESSED - how much for my 08 Anniversary, 37,000 miles - he comes back with 16,000.00 for a difference of 8000.00 with a finance rate of 4.9%. So anyhow, my wife's 45th anniversary present is sitting in the garage as I write this book!!! If you're ever in West TN, visit Abernathy's in Union City. Ken and Danny are great folks, and give you all the info you need with no pressure. Also threw in 2 t-shirts of my choice and 20% off for a YEAR! Pictures to follow soon, Cherry Red Sunglow/Merlot Sunglow. The moral of this story is if you go with a buddy to pick up his new bike, BE CAREFUL, you might just leave with a new one!

you scored a very nice deal and ride, have fun it is obvious you love it and she is loaded, how can you go wrong with a new bike for 8 grand. Good job.

My wife gets dow right nervous any time I tell her I am just looking when we are in a dealership. If I am sitting on a bike while I say that, she just skips nervous and goes right to angry.
