Before I screw something up I want ask.
I replace the air clean on my 05 RK and noticed
the throttle boby was pretty dirty.
Woud you clean it like on a car, spay with throttle body cleaner.
Or do you do it another way?
I know this may be a simple question but I sure as he$$ don't want scew something up.
Thanks
Don
I've used carb cleaner on mine before with no apparent ill effects. Just don't go nuts with it. (too much "spritzing" and it can get into the cylinders and may cause problems on restart) It's also a good idea to open the throttle blade and clean the area behind it. Usually by the time you get everything buttoned back up any excess has evaporated and you're good to go. Make sure to cover the area around the throttle body with an old towel (or similar) so any splash doesn't get on the paint.
