Is this normal? I video taped the start up and it made this ugly clunk sound. I started it up again and it did not do it (as you can see on the video). This is the second time it does it since I took it for the 10,000 mile service. The only thing different they did at the service was an updated stock calibration for driveabilty conditions (do not know what that is all about and stupid me did not ask).

get this every once in a while too. wonder if this the compensator problem alot of people talk about here.

I had that same sound on my 10 EGC, I think it's the compensator. I did fix the problem though, I traded it off for an 11 Limited.

sound is what i had before changing to the SE compensator now starts are much smoother

I've never heard that, but I'll note the part about the compensator should I decide to build my engine.

Mine has started doing this the last 1000 miles. Looks like its time to take it to the dealer and start the battle.
