Alright guys I purchased a 2000 FLHTCI last April. It Has 95CI, stage 2, rinehart td, 203 cams and a power commander. It was tuned in 2004. Should I take it an have somebody else look at it? Is this something that should be done on a regular basis? Want to make sure I am getting the maximum performance. Thanks.
Unless you changed something, or it is not performing well, no need IMO. Or, unless you got that sort of cash laying around. Once tuned, there shouldn't be any need to check things. Even after rebuilds, as long as no major changes are made, I stick with the same tune.
I would say the only reason to retune (dyno) would be if you made changes, engine is not running correctly or if you think the tuner did not dyno the bike correctly.

Like the others said, you only need to get it re-tuned if you are having issues or make changes. What part of Ohio are you in?

As noted, there isn't really any reason to re-tune. That being said, when I had my bike tuned, it was recommended that I keep a copy of my map and the tuner interface with me when traveling. It seems the ECM "could lose it's mind related to the tune and need the map to be reloaded". Any dealer should be able to reload your map so a good reason to keep it with you.
Did you get a copy of the map with the bike when you bought it? If not you might ask the previous owner.
I would take it in every 2 months. that way it will "RELIEVE your wallet of any extra $$$$ & at the same time help the economy. Pass it on!!! IMO this "DYNO"thing is way out of control. But it's your money & who I'm I to say how to waste it, Ops I mean spend it. Just my 2 cents.
People don't realize just how hard a dyno run is on a bike. So my answer is rarely, if ever. I've got the same motor as you and mine has never needed to be on a dyno and it just passed 84,000 miles, ( a different measure of performance, IMO.)
