Here is the story, I own a 2000 electra glide classic, with steel spoke wheels. 1 inch bearings up front 3/4 or 25 mm in rear .got a pair of oem black mag wagon wheels super cheap ,new wheels have 1 inch bearings up front an 1 inch in rear, this should be an easy fix just pop out the 1 inch bearings out of the new rear wheel and install the 3/4 or 25 mm
that is not the problem !! looks like there could be some spacer issues
I'm sure someone has run into this before .does harley make a retro kit
with the right spacers ?
any help would be great

 

Not sure if this helps but I just did the same mod on a 2007 SG. I think the wagon wheels I got were off a 2001.

 

going to check with a couple local dealers for fitment, other than changing the rear bearings to 3/4, hope there are no spacer issues thanks

 

I did the same thing on my 2000 RK classic, no spacer issues

 

well so far so good , did a dry run last night with the front wheel and brakes, everything was fine
going to install new 3/4 rear bearings, mount the drive pully and disc, we'll see what happens
