Default Rider's backrest with different seat
I have a 2008 FLHTC and put on a seat from a 2008 Streetglide for more legroom. I am buying the HD rider's backrest which it says should fit both bikes. Should I have any issues with installation considering I switched the seat?

No. 88 to 08 Touring are the same per 2011 P&A Catalog.
