Default Installing windshield docking hardware?

Is this hard to do on a Road King Custom? Dealer says they can't get to it for a few weeks and I'm thinking of doing the job myself.

You only have to take out 4 bolts and put on some rubber grommets. It should take you all of 15 minutes.

Looks easy to me - my RK Classic has the hardware installed. Like the other fellow said, looks like 4 bolts, washers, and rubber spacers. Couldn't be hard.

did it myself. I am sure the wife could have done it, and she can barely put gas in her car on her own.

Super easy, but read the directions.
You must put the shield on before torqueing the bolts.

I didn't, had to pull em, re-loctite em, and put it back together...

Don't worry if you have leftover parts. My kit was pretty generic, so I assume its just one with parts for different bikes in it.
