Crossroads...
...seem to come and go, yeah.
The gypsy flies from coast to coast.
Knowing many, loving none.
Bearing sorrow, havin' fun.
Nothin' like some Allman Brothers with the morning coffee.
I really like my '10 FLHR - a lot. It's a wonderful bike. But, I'm at a point where I'm trying to decide whether to take the next step with it or just get a new FLTRU or FLHTK.
Here's what is on the list for the King, if I decide to keep it in the garage (so to speak):
The King project would result in a more personalized scooter that fits my riding style. It would also allow me to do it over time, thereby spreading out the expense over time. And allowing for an extended, fun, project.
But, I really like the new bikes listed above.
The down side is I know I will not like what I would get for my King, versus what I have into it already.
Decisions, decisions...

- Dead Center Cycles fairing
- Vented lowers with detachable hardware
- King tour-pak with detachable hardware
- Saddlebag fillers
- Anarchy wheels
- Bad Dad slammed front fender
- Stage II (103" + 255 cams)

Your bike is barly broken in. I have much of what you are listing. When I want to, I tour with full set up. Comfortable touring seat, tunes, protection and storage...just like my Ultra riding buddies (okay so I don't have as many electronic faring anchors as my friends...so what).
But, also when I want it...it's a stipped down, solo saddle, badass blvd cruiser. My buds...not so much.

I've already done a stage 1 (Big Sucker, SE 4" slip-ons, Dresser Duals), Mustang solo seat, 4-point detachable kit, highway pegs, tinted LRS shield, BrightAss tailight, LED signals with RTB controller and smoked lenses, 4100k lamps up front, extended footboards, Heritage bars, oil cooler, bits of chrome...
And I've only got 15k on the odo, so far...

That is an impressive list...I don't even see why you would even consider starting over!
Get that detachable fairng and tour pak. I'm not much of a fan of hard lowers, but I frequently use soft lowers when conditions call for it. About 1 minute to install or remove. The flexibility is great.

Yeah, it's probably 7 large, but I wouldn't be doing it all at the same time. A stock FLTRU or FLHTK would work... but I wouldn't leave it stock forever.
Getting into a new one would entail pissing some coin away, I'm afraid.
