Tour Pak Kit ? Im thinking about getting one, are they a hard install ? I bet there is a thread about these but I caint find it.
I would really like to do this myself because I want the wiring hid well.

Now, when I want to ride on a chilly day, I take my Ultra (less Tour-Pak) and it's a whole lot like my Road King. Looks much better (to me, and that's all that counts) as well.
If you follow that thread, you'll see that to do a neat installation, you'll be cutting wires and installing a bunch of pins. The tool isn't all that expensive (for crimping pins), but it's a rather fiddly/tedious job.
I just recently added the quick release (QR) mount and love it. Bought a QR sissybar and luggage rack on here and love the look. The only time I put the Tour Pak on now is for touring or riding 2-up. (Too many of my passengers are now used to the sofa feel and won't allow me to just use the sissy bar.
I really like it. I like taking the TP off when I ride alone, but have the extra space and comfort when my wife goes. It's the best of both worlds with a Limited and a Street Glide. I wish I would have done it sooner. Before my schedule changed this summer, I rode alone a lot on my days off, but now I have weekends off again, so we ride together.
I actually prefer riding without it because the bike is lighter and handles better, but always have it on when my wife rides so she stays comfy. It takes about 10-15 minutes for each change and that includes removing/installing the TP, connecting the wires, and swapping the seat (stock SG seat when solo).
There's a thread on here about a plate or something under the TP to keep the wire bundles off the paint. I went with a plexiglass shelf that the wires rest on. Make sure to keep the wires off the rear fender to prevent paint damage. You lose the stock bundle mounts when you remove the license plate holder off the TP.

Love it so much it stays on permanently.
I won't take it off just to darned handy, and I'll bet you wouldn't either.
