One thing I really liked about my Road King was its versatility. I'm looking to add some of that to my Road Glide Ultra.
It would seem that I can add these two parts to make the tour-pak detachable:
53246-09A -- detachable tour-pak mounting kit
70032-09 -- quick disconnect harness
That would allow me to add/remove the TP as I choose.
I would also like to get a solo seat and be able to run it with or without the TP. In essence, being able to have the TP on or off in either solo or 2-up mode.
Anyone done this? Anyone know if the above kit would accommodate this?
The kit contains 2-up docking hardware, detachable 2-up TP rack, chrome strut covers, license plate holder, reflector and radio antenna relocation hardware.
