Default Detachable hardware question

I'm planning on installing detachable hardware on my '06 EGC trunk but I can't figure out what the difference is between the 53276-04 rack for $179.95 and the 53303-07 rack kit for $329.95. Is it just the antenna relocation bracket and license plate holder? Seems like some expensive hardware if that's all it is. Thanks for your help guys.

You can probably do a part by part comparison of the two kits on HD's website by entering the part nos. There probably are "service parts" lists for each showing what's in each kit.

Also, "hardware" for detachable stuff usually refers to the parts that stay on the bike and to which the detachable stuff (tour paks and backrest/sissybars, for example) is attached.

I don't know the difference, but if you get them from Zanotti's they are $140, and $258, not the prices you mentioned.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. I checked the HD website for more info on parts breakdown and it looks like the only difference is the antenna and CHROME license plate bracket. I knew chrome was spendy but that seems kinda ridiculous.

You would also need to buy the docking hardware. It is included in the kit.

Call Doug at Chicago HD 800-262-9150, he's a pretty helpful guy. They also give 20% off on p and a.
