+1 for the HardKrome, but I don't know if you will find them for your bike. Looks like they only make exhaust for metric and victory now.

When you roll on it, they are deep and loud no doubt about it. They are much louder than V&H, Rineharts etc.. If you find a set to fit your bike, pissing contest won!

Had them on my 06 streetglide and they kicked the crap out of any other true duals out there, they sounded better and looked better, rhineharts could not compare, my brother still has a set on his roadking and we never have had issues with them, except for people saying there ears were bleeding when riding behind us, as far as riding all the noise was behind you, so who cares, how did you come up with your "great" opinion?

I've got 4" Rinehart True Duals on my 2011 Road King Classic. They are the BEST. Cost around $1,000. Expensive, yes. But, when you put them on, look at them and listen to them.........you will know where that extra money went!!!

You've got a great bike. Don't go half way. Do it right.

Not to jack a thread. I havent decided if i want the dual exhaust or out the side. Has anyone lost any cornering ability with any of these exhaust systems? I put loud pipes on my night rod but had to slash them cause the drug so bad.

CFRs or a 4" diameter muffler like the newer Rineharts or the Samson performance will look bad a$$ with extended bags. The 4" Rineharts come in either black or chrome tip caps and both the Rineharts and Samson 4 inchers have removable baffles. You better have a big build because once you pull the baffles, all performance is out the door!

Loud? Thunderheader or Supertrapp supermegs ( incl. H-D Nightstick, just take off the end cap)

But you do have to be aware that:

1. Like my Pal Ricky, nobody will ride behind him- he has to ride at the rear of the pack.
Last time he tried to lead after getting gas- everyone stopped and let him get ahead.

2. You get to meet more cops, which is how we found Ricky, on the side of the road getting another ticket

3. Hearing loss- I have hearing loss from over 30 years in Rock and Roll- loud pipes don't make it any better. You only get to hear so much sound in your life---you can spread it out over a lifetime, or have it all at once.

Mike

ps: another story.
One of the loudest bikes I ever heard was a Guy on a Dyna with little short straight pipes, putting around a parking lot at a swap meet, he had to keep reving and slipping the clutch because of lost torque.
I was riding my 38 HP 50 year old Panhead that day.
I ended up behind this Guy at the light at the freeway on ramp.
When the light changed he could get out of his own way...I went around him as he was at about 10 MPH, I heard him winding it out , then shifting to 2nd.
He was getting smaller in the mirror, not bigger.

It took him about 4 miles to catch up and pass me.

very open pipes much reduce torque

Wow.

I don't care about performance, I just want loud. Nice thinking there.

Sampson fishtails without baffles are about as loud and annoying as you can get FYI.
