installed hidden antenna
Just installed HD boom boom hidden antenna. Was a little nervous to remove fairing as I hadn't ever done that. Had the part sitting in garage for over a week trying to convience myself to just do it. well I'm here to tell you it was a walk in the park so dont be intimidated by this. There are great pics and resources in this place. Thank you all for this great resource. Now I have tunes to watch the snow melt.

I installed a hidden antenna in the fairing at the same time I installed an XM module. There wasn't much to it except that the recommended location for the XM antenna isn't good at all with the large wide chrome windshield trim with lights in it. The XM reception is intermittent at best while riding in Northern directions.
