got my SE 255 cams, Revolution Performance EMS installed today. It has taken me a few days to complete, only able to work on it a few hours at a time. changed my VH dresser duals out for the 09 ones, needed the 18mm hole for the oxygen sensors. Very impressed with the change, not sure which change was the best, the cams or ems, bike seems to be much smoother now, really seems to have much better bottom end and didnt seem to hurt 4-5000 rpm at all. Now ready for the warm weather to ride the heck out of it. Put 100 miles on it today, could tell at every stop that the tuner seemed to be making it run better as the miles were put on it.
Congratulations neighbor (Im just 30 minutes south of you). The 255's are great cams for 96" baggers. Looks like the weather may be finallly starting to warm up. Cant wait to get out and ride...

Good to hear. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a Rev Perf EMS. Just kind of waiting for enough "guinee pigs" to report their results. Have not read one negative result with this product.
Was the install as easy as it sounds?
That's the auto tuning ems? Would like to hear more about it's performance as you put on the miles. Did you use the original pushrods or adjustable? Would also like to know how you ride and what the 255's do on the highway. Did you try passing in sixth? Or how was the acceleration on the highway when passing?

used the stock push rods, ride 2 up most of the time, at 55 in 6th gear, you just twist the throttle and it goes, no downshifting needed. Had the stage one before, and had xieds on the bike, It seems to be alot smoother already with just 100 miles. I think the REV Performance EMS is going to be real nice, bikes starts really easy, performs very smooth. Hope to put big bore kit on it this summer, that will tell if the EMS is what they say, should not have to do anything except perform the trottle position set before firing it up. Hope it is that easy. It was just start and ride with the install. very easy to install it.
I also just finished installing the 255 cam and map for PCV from Fuel Moto. I gota say I love the cam. it made a huge change. I already had a Thunderheader and the cam really makes it a FUN bike to ride. I took the advise of many on this site and am very glad I did. Congrates on your upgrade, hope you smile as much as I do when Im riding..

Glad you got it done, pittz. They cams pull pretty good dont they!
it pulls alot harder now. Had been riding goldwings for the last 15 years, was missing the power, but the bike rode so much better that I could do with out the power. Now it feels like it pulls as hard as the wing, i know it isnt as fast as the wings, but I dont ride that fast anyway! Would never go back to Honda now!!!!
I'm in for 1 too, but maybe after a couple years after I'm no longer happy with the PC-V. They might be a lot cheaper by then too.
They seem to me to be a combination of a tuner, auto tuner and dyno all in one.
I like that idea.
