Just installed the Arc 125 amp & Hertz 6.5 speakers in my 09 Ultra. For any of you that have the same setup, what settings did you use on the amp? I've read about not using the AVC. I would hate to lose that, but I don't want to blow the speakers either. Hope someone can help me out on the amp settings and whether or not you use the AVC.

 

I can't help with the settings, played with them till they sounded good at volume. Don't remember where they ended up. I'd have to take the fairing off to see where they are. I did turn off the AVC though. It is now a habit to manually turn the volume down at low speeds or stop lights. I am interested in the sound of the Hertz speakers, would like to know how much like or dislike them. I am running the 6.5 ARC ones in mine and was wondering if it was worth a change to the Hertz. I'll be watching this thread....
