Anyone know if the new curved license plate frame would work on an '07 Roadie? I would imagine the holes in the fender are the same between a Street Glide and a Road Glide, or am I wrong? I realize I would have to figure out some way to light the plate.
From the HD Website:
Curved License Plate Frame - Gloss Black Touring
Love the look of your bike but hate the appearance of your state-mandated license plate? This stylish Curved License Plate Frame is shaped to hug the contour of the rear fender. Designed to replace the Original Equipment black license plate bracket, installation requires no drilling or rewiring. The front frame cover conceals the plate's mounting holes and raw edges, and the curved shape hides the unfinished rear side of the plate. Available in chrome or gloss black finish, the complete kit includes all required mounting hardware.
Just put this on my 2011 RGU. HD has one for $72.00 and Kuryakyn has one for $75.00. It mount to the same holes your stock plate uses. It sits about an inch away from the fender...

That's what I'm trying to figure out. The stock plate on an '07 isn't on the fender, it's on the grab bar or whatever you want to call it. I am trying to figure out if one of these will bolt up to my fender so I can move my plate down and get rid of the grab bar. I'm going with the HD one in black if it fits. I avoid Kury junk like the plague.
I guess what I'm trying to find out is if the turn signal bars on the Street Glide and the Road Glide have the same mounting holes, spacing, etc. I wouldn't be replacing as I don't have one now. I would be adding. Thanks for the link usmc, but as I stated in the post above yours, I stay away from Kury stuff.
