Installed the Vance & Hines Big Shot duals last night and WOW they sound awesome. Anyone looking at new pipes should consider these, the install was easy and they look great. However, they are loud with the standard baffles so if you are concerned about disturbing the neibors, ya might think about the quite baffles. Myself, I love em loud. A lil more cleaning and some more chrome and I'll be ready too ride, if only this lousy Ohio weather would cooperate! I do have a prb that I need help with. My factory radio plays, but no sound from the speakers. I got the fairing off & found no bad wires or connections. My fear is that the amp in the radion is junk.
So should I fix the factory radio or buy something else? Need some tunes on my scoot.

 

Congrats on the new pipes. I know what you mean about neighbors. I'm in Europe and people tend to respect each other. My problem is I go to work at 530AM. I push it to the street, start up and idle out of the neighborhood.

I heard about Iron cross & thinkin I'll email em & see if they can help. But if it cost me $300 or so to fix it, would I be better off just buyin the Sony unit with new speakers. Does anyone use the Sony on their bike? Will the HK quit again ? Too many questions, not enough beer.

 

Stupid question but is the speaker switch in the right position? Does it play cd's or ipod or is it completely dead?

 

Not a stupid question, I had to stop & think about that myself. Already checked that didnt make any difference. It will play cd's, tuner & all the switches do what they supposed 2, just nothin comin through speakers.
