If you really want music when riding, then you should get a Glide. But you do have 'Elvis' in you name, that would be a perfect fit to a King.

You're right. I love my RK CVO, but if it is ever traded, it will be for an ultra. Not necessarily for me, but to keep my passenger happy & touring with me more often!

But right now, I've got a pretty good setup. I have the detachable tourpack (never use it unless its a road trip), and some nice handlebar speakers for tunes. Most of the time I run the windscreen, but there are many days when I absolutely love having full wind in my face! You just can't do that with a permanent fairing!

And I like the clean look, without bumpers or fender lights.

Well fellas I bought a 2011 Root beer Limited. Love the ride. Colors different. Never thought I would like a brown bike. I thought i was set on the black and blue. But something kept drawing me back to the Root beer. Now it just needs to warm up some! Have the bike but now cant afford all of the cold weather gear!

ps tried to take a pic but forgot to put the memory card in the camera. Maybe tomorrow. Pictues dont capture the color well though

and Im in Delaware for who asked

I bought the same bike in January. I went to buy the black and blue and like you the root beer kept calling me. My wife said it doesn't look like a bike I would own but I was dead set on not buying another all black bike. I will have this one for a long time according to her so color was important. I will probably be buried with this one. Congrats on the new bike, they look awesome out in the sun.

I was trying to sway my wife towards a new Road Glide Ultra and she kept pushing me to a new Root Beer Limited. We left empty handed since I really want to try a fuggly.

The Root Beer color looks great though!

Wouldnt give up my stereo, cruise, fairing and all the goodies for anything. I am sort of a gadget guy and like the stuff on my Ultra. But if you do go for the RK, they say you wont iss what ya never had. Just never try a Ultra for a ride though.

As to the payment difference. I know most of the world is a "I want it now" bunch, but I ya take a bit more time and put some money back for the down payment, you could even end up with a payment less than the RK on a Ultra or EGC. Just my three cents.

Also keep in mind that you will not get factory cruise control unless you buy a Road King Classic. There's really no fair comparison between a Road King and an Ultra Limited.

You really need that Ultra Limited.
