If they look good there's no reason not to get 30,000 miles out of them. I also have not seen any cross matched plugs to the Harley plugs. Some one else may have but not me.

I just replaced mine at 10k (the HD Gold Plugs, $3.50 each). Probably did not need it, but the rear plug was rusted (outside) and looked like crap. I went ahead and put the Screaming Eagles wires on, they look good. I did save the old ones incase I have a problem sometime down the road.

Some may sat it's a waste of money (it's my money) and so be it but I change my plugs every spring when the bike is fully serviced. Have been running stock plugs with no issues.

They are cheap enough and simple to do that you really could do an annual check and replace when you feel like it.

Under 10 bucks and 5 minutes to do.

Champion RA8HC is identical to the OEM HD 6R12,and only costs $1.50 unless you buy them from J7P. I think they get $6 for them. You can run them for 5, 10, 20000 miles works great and lasts a long time.

Been using 6R12G's and changin every 20K and no problems. Only problem was once when went with the Screamin eagle ones and at 3K miles had one fail. Went back the 6R12Golds
