I can understand if they showed some sort of wear (what ever that mark might be) but replace at some mileage? for those that have worked on HD for years, your thoughts and suggestions? Is there something I should be looking for regarding wear? if there some magic number of miles? thx
I have an 09 streetglide that I've put over 100,000 miles on and I've never even looked at my chain tensioner.

At 21,760 miles I was astounded to see this inner cam tensioner shoe, but after researching this issue, I found the variable miles for failure between 15K and 30K. I believe that’s what we’re talking about (Hope this image posts).
