Jackpot Mufflers. Before and After Video
After removing the old system it was time to enjoy the goodies:
First was the headpipe. Top-notch quality. Quite beautiful actually. Welds are awesome and the fit was spot on. Lined up perfect and not issues with the crossover.
Second was the cans. Again top-notch. Superb finish and craftsmanship. Slid right on with no issues.
Third was the A/C and PCV. Another hassle free install. And as simple as it seems, the PCV box was re-sealed by FM indicating that it had been opened and programmed.
My only regret, and this was completely on me, the PC V does not use the factory O2 sensors. Had I read all the instructions with that, I would have used the plugs that FM provided in the bungs of the pipe. But that's no ones fault but mine.
got her all buttoned up and fired. Nice rumble at idle. Cruise sound is throatier but not obnoxiously loud. In fact its not much louder then stock it seems. Just throatier. Then I jumped on it. WOW. Awesome bark out of these things. Combined with the A/C and PCV, it pulls harder and really sings with these new cans.
All said and done it took about 4 1/2 hours. I took my time and didn't rush it.
Thanks to FM for an awesome kit.
Here is a clip of the before and after.

It's a nice setup and they are good people to deal with.
Hey....if you get around to snapping some pics of the bike, please post a pic or two of the right side of the bike. I'd really like to see how the full exhaust system looks.

It is worth noting that the alignment of the heat shields near the crossover probably don't line up as well as they should. This is because I whacked a deer last year. (The bike had its 2 week old birthday while I was waiting for the crash report and cleaning guts off while on the side of the road). Anyway you can see the front heat shield towards the middle has a crease in it.

Thanks for all the closeups. If you happen to have non-closeup pic, please post it as well. I was particularly wanting to see the exhaust were the muffler meets the rear heat shield, which is the one closeup that you didn't show.
I like the fact that you said its not much louder than stock. Does that mean its no harder to hear the stereo while riding on the streets and freeway?
