balancing form and function
This weekend I decided to keep my bike and make mods rather than buy a new one. I'm going to attempt to make a hybrid of these bikes (shamelessly ripped of from other HDF members):

Hope to have my first shipment from Lake Shore in about 10 days which includes a tour pak w/backrest and detachable rack, front bullet turn signal kit, SG saddlebag guard kit, and black saddlebag face plates. I'm also ordering a Stage 1 kit from Fuel Moto in about an hour (waiting for them to open).
Step 2 of my mods will be SG tins, lowering kit, chrome wheels, black upper and lower fork sliders, and various chrome pieces for the motor. My question is in regard to wheel size: I would like to go with a larger wheel size but I don't want to compromise handling in the process as my wife and I do a fair amount of touring. Should I go 18" front and rear or could I do a 19" or 21" in the front and still have a well-behaved scoot?
