Just purchased wild one 16" apes for my 08 RK, would like to purchase cables from magnum shielding, but i'm having a hard time calculating lenghts :-( any thoughts ?
On my RG I went 14" Wild 1 with Magnum cables and brake lines. I went +8 on both and they perfect. Magnum brake line numbers have a lot to desire, I had to return the brake lines, the +8 brake line is 29". I would imagine that you would want to go +10 with 16".
Thanks Bones,
i calculated +10 for clutch, but brake is proving difficult.
It took three brake lines to get the right length. Magnum numbers sucked. I ended up with the 3/8" 90 degree, 29" brake line.
I went with the 90 degree fitting because it looked better with the clutch cable. Made a better sweep. +10 will be 31" or if you go with a 35 degree fitting you might get away with a 29".
Good luck and welcome to the forum.
