In Dec I bought and installed a PC III on my street glide after a half dozen attempts to get it tuned right and the price tag for someone to dyno tune it, I bought a thunder max with auto tune and decided to sell my PC III I have not had one offer on it which got me thinking with all my problems trying to get it tuned are the Power commanders junk and thats why I couldn't get it tuned and why no one has made a offer on it or did i just give up to soon and the right buyer hasn't came along?
I would guess with the new PV out the PCIII is old school. Same thing with anything electronic. It gets old quick. I am sure Dynojet is already working on the PV2 or some other stuff. Great choice with the T Max. I love mine.
I went and looked at your ad for the PC3 and I'd say your asking to much. To move anything used you need to be at about 60% of new value and they can be had new for 300.00
Out of curisoity, I looked up your PCIII post. Since you have asked, I think you could benefit by doing a little 'market research' if you really want to sell it.
For instance, you are giving almost no information on exactly what you have, what is included and why your are selling it. Most importantly, IMHO, you are asking $225 for a used product with no warranty. For $239 I could get a New PCIII USB from Fuel Moto with a preloaded map, full support and 2 year warranty. For my money, $15 would not be worth taking a chance on a used unit.
Just offering a free opinion which is usually worth what you pay for it. lol
My PCIII is almost 4 yrs old & runs with no issues at all. Like what the others are saying, the PCIII is old technology and demand is slipping quickly due to the newest self tuning technology.
Does the pcIII marry itself to one bike? Maybe that is why no one is buying it.
No.
Also, to the OP, there is nothing wrong with the PC III. You had a bad tuner. There are tens of thousands of people out there that have had PC III's and were completely happy with them. You are definitely asking too much for a piece of technology that's a minimum of 4 years old. Do you seriously think you'd get just 15.00 less than these things sell for brand new?
