The LED lights when ignition is on but not when hooked up to the laptop via usb cable.

Sounds like it is a warranty issue....sure is nice of Fuel Moto to add an extra year to the warranty!

As long as the PC powers up when the ignition is on chances are there is nothing wrong with the unit, it is likely a USB connection or other minor issue. Give us a call and we would be happy to help

Sounds like the USB drivers didn't load on first hook up. Did you say you hooked computer to another PCV and it worked. If that is the case probably not USB driver problem. Does computer make sound when you plug the USB cable into Computer and complete the connection to the PCV. If not try another USB cable. Cable is same as USB printer cable.

Thanks for the replies, I hooked it up to my cable I use for my Garmin and it found it right away. Must be a bad cable.

Don't use the software version that was on your CD, as it may be obsolete when used with some newer firmware versions. Download the latest software from the PC site and double-check that you have the latest firmware installed (1.0.4.0). Get everything updated and it may come to life.
