I never listen to radio as where I live radio is not geared to music and really sux. It is media oriented, so I listen to my own library of 5500 songs on my Ipod on the run.
Fok em'!! JM-2..
Thank u for post. $17.99 at shucks 1 mile from me and in stock. I dont listen to radio but want it just in case i use ipod and cds. And really been wanting to lose th antena.
They make a relocation bracket that mounts to the left horizontal muffler hanger for 24 bucks. I just installed it last night, along with the HD shorty and the tip comes up to below the level of the rack and is not of the way! I tried the in fairing HD antenna and did not like the performance. I went back to the whip!

I bought the Metra - Antenna at Auto Zone a couple of weeks ago. I got to test it against the stock antenna last night. A buddy on a SG and I went for a ride and both bikes started to lose the radio station that we were on about the same time. Not only does it work good but $20 at Auto Zone is better than $50 at HD for the same antenna.
