Happens to the best of us and...in your case a "light" tip is much better than going down hard. Take care & ride safe!

Glad all is ok. I think we all have done something when we looked around and said "hope nobody saw that one". I had a similar incodent in the parking lot.....at the Harley Dealer. Talk about embarassed. Didn't go all the way down but still kind of hurts your ego. Talk about losing focus.
Get your strength back and enjoy the ride.

In a strange hilly parking lot I decided to coast to the bottom before I started the bike. Fork lock! I went down on the right side and learned plenty!

Bought new 2011 FLHTCU 2 months ago after riding Yamaha Road Star 1600 for a year. Dropped it at stop sign 3 weeks after buying. Thought I knew how to ride big bikes. Learned quickly to stay off front brake going slow. Glad to hear I'm not alone.

This is why they build those crash bars in the first place.

Thanks for all the kind words, you'll be happy to know that today, I AM KING OF THE DRIVEWAY! Went to the local BIG parking lot and practiced for a while, kept going until I felt confident about short stops, rolling stops, slow turns, etc. Bike felt very good today, as soon as my new body (184lbs.) gets used to what my old body (234lbs.) was used to, I should be cruisin', BTW, I had Vance and Hines Power Duals put on this winter, and I'm running Rinehart 4" slipons, the torque is "crazy", I'm being pushed back on every shift, and the growl is really nice too! Glad the "cat" is gone.
Thanks again for all the support
