Now that would be embarrassing, I did drop mine in the driveway though, I should have know that kickstand wasn't just for looks, found out you have to put it down before you get off the bike. Bag guards are a good investment. Glad your alright and the bike didn't take damage.
Several years ago I put mine down on both sides within minutes. Right side first, then when I hurried up to get it back up, I forgot to put the stand down and pushed it over on the left side. Talk about stupid! But...we learn from our mistakes.

It's amazing the strength you suddenly have and how fast the bike bounces right back up when a bunch of people are watching. It's sometimes superhuman.
Let he who has not dropped his bike in the driveway cast the first stone. I don't know if you're able to do this, but after an accident 18 months ago my injured knee has gradually improved to the point that I can work-out with it. I got back into squats and other leg exercises, the same weight I was using before the accident, and these made a huge difference in my ability to keep the heavy SG upright. As important as improving strength, it's also restored my confidence to do it.
I have NEVER dropped my bike in the driveway. I dropped it in the garage! It was on the stand and I moved it a little for some reason or other and the jiffy stand unlocked. I was on the right side and it rolled over on the left side. Watch the video on how to lift it by yourself. It WILL come in handy some day ...
After 20 motorcycles over 40 years of riding, the only time it goes down on it's side is near my garage, ( oily spot on floor, wet grass just outside, etc,) about once every couple of years.
It's just it's way of reminding me that it could swat me like a bug if I ever get too confidant in my riding ability!
let my daughter get off at the icecream shop, then forgot to put kickstand down. Half of the crowd went ooww other half chuckled. Strange i didnt see a Daxx thing funny bout it LOL
