My 2010 road glide came with a tool set, however no hammer was included which is my all time favorite tool.

Ironically I got both. I think its just a matter of where you end up buying from. Don't think there is a set standard outside the fact you should be getting one or the other.

For $30.00 I bought a Craftsman 1/4" drive socket kit in a nylon zipper case. Has up to 18mm metric and 3/4" standard sockets, screwdriver bits and forget what else. I added metric and standard allen sets, electrical wrenches, small crescent. I also carry a Leatherman Supertool in a nylon pouch with a Mag Lite flashlight. I can manage most minor repairs wherever I am as long as I know what is wrong....

icked up my 2011 SG on Wed. Tool kit was in saddlebag. Leatherman type here.

my 2008 FLTR came with a roll up tool kit, the dealer handed it to me with the owners manual.
