What do you recommend for floor board lowering/extending..
I'm 6'2"... already have a tallboy seat. There doesn't seem to be much out there to make foot boards adjustable down and forward. It seems strange that Harley doesn't make them adjustable from the factory. Guys 6'4 or 6'5 and above plain can't ride Ultras I would think. Thanks.

You CAN adjust the angle of the stock floorboards. Kuryakyn has a kit that will extend them out 3/4". Also look at extended shift arms and brake pedal. Cruiseboards are the ticket, if you're tall!

Harley makes a kit that moves the boards up about 2". If that is not enough Accutronix makes a floorboard eliminating set of forward controls that would give you about 36" from the footpeg to the middle of the stock seat. I had a set on my FLHT and they gave you about 6 inches of extra legroom over the stock seat. Only downside is that you have pegs and no floorboards. Worked for me. I have done over 1000 miles in a day with the Accutronix forward controls. I am just 6' but I have some hip trouble which make it important for me to get my legs forward.

I'm 6'2" and probably wouldn't still be riding if not for the Kuryakyn cruiseboards. I'm planning on going to the tall boy seat this winter also. I too have hip problems to overcome or, in other words, live with until I get to the point of going under the knife[sm=smiley21.gif]

Hey EV , check these out from Harley http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
One inch may not be much , but you may be able to tell.
Also , the stock boards should be 3 position adjustable , up and down , from the factory.
My Standard came in the "all the way up" position.
Maybe there is another inch there for you.
Just a couple of thoughts ...
Good luck.
Mick

Check out someones Ultra with the EZbrake on it. It lowers the brake pedal so yu don't have to bend yur foot upward to the point of really uncomfortable. They are kinda pricy but withthe dtock unit I had to actually hold my foot up and brake with my foot off the foorboard and withthe EZbrake I can brake great with my heel on the floorboard. I'm 6'1" so it may not be the endall for you , but for me it was what finally made the Ultra a keeper for me.
