Default Carrying pool cue

Do any of you regularly carry a pool cue on your bike other than strapped down to a luggage rack? I am wanting to find a nice pool cue that would break down short enought to fit in a saddlebag. Maybe a 4 piece.

http://www.ozonebilliards.com/bisetucueca1.html is an alternative. I haven't seen a cue that breaks down in that many pieces.

I just throw my case on my back with the strap across my chest and ride to the tournament.

I've got one that breaks down into 5 pieces. It fit perfect in my '94 FLSTN, which could only hold 4 beer bottles. Yep, those were some tiny bags.

There is no such thing as a good pool cue that breaks down into more than 3 pieces. I have a McDermott EB07 Jump/Break cue that is as straight as a 1 piece cue that is 3 pieces, but I usually just bungee my case containing that cue and my 2 piece McDermott C-6 that I bought in 1980. Works just fine.

Have you tried a saddlebag cover with the tie down set up? That's what my friend does it with no issues. He runs the tie downs through the cue bags handle. No fear of falling off.

I've been known to bungee mine to my ape hangers... Its only a couple minute ride to where I normally shoot though.

I may have to try that. Thanks for the suggestions.
