HAhaha. Jousting pole sold separate Well.. After getting nailed in the lip, cheek by 60 mph bugs and rocks..then got face blasted by a dump truck hauling sand. I figured that was it. I got this, and I could care less what people think about it or how it looks.. It does what it says. Keeps the flying objects off my face and I like that it keeps the wind off my face for those long cold rides. I keep it in the bags for when I need it. Like heading home through the back roads at dawn when the bugs are flying! or down a road where there is a lot of construction. Anyways. It does take some getting used to. The only vision it limits for me is my downward vision. I have to now make an effort to look down at my speedo. You wont have that issue with your instruments straight ahead. let me know how/if you like it.
Man looks sharp! I'm digging that helmet also. what kind is it? What are your thoughts on the cover?
I recently went on a hour and half ride with the wife and it was freezing cold and windy. I put on the cover and it made all the difference in the world. My face wasn't freezing and wind blown afterwards. It was my first ride in really cold windy conditions with it. Let me know how it goes.
I got the chrome one with the skull snaps and it is awesome. It doesnt move around even at about 90 mph Keeps the cold air off my face. I'll post a pic when I get a chance.
I've owned mine since one of his first batches
Yes I own a full face helmet. Heavy shitty hot and uncomfortable
The harness pretty much makes this hover in front of your face. Plenty of air
Stays cool I ride in Phoenix az Year round before this I lived in Portland Oregon and rode in freezing rain
Both climates it's comfortable and light
When I first saw these I was doubtful but I ride out to his house and we took a good 10 mile ride The local farmers massive sprinklers did ok at simulating rain and the bees did a satisfying tap dance on the mask . Pretty much went from a sceptic to an owner
Bell has a soft version if you worry about crash testing
So far nothing but happy
Been wearing mine about 3 years
I'm probably not a real biker though
As far as vision Peripheral is unrestricted. But you loose a small amount downward I see about 6 inches below my handlebars unless I tilt down
