My salesman walked me through all of this on purchase,
and I thank him for that.
We use the CB on channel 2 for plain voice comms.
Intecom is easy once you get the volume and VOX setting
adjusted correctly, just takes some trial and error on that.
volume for your headsets is independent settings on each
function. Tunes,CB,and Intercom are all seperate. PTT Push
to Talk depressed and ajust you CB volume. Intercom, while
you are talking on it you adjust that volume. Once those are
set to what you want they stay that way until you adjust again.
VOX setting is the sensitivity of the microphone before your
talking is heard. you can set it to about half-way or maybe
1 or 2 bars farther to the right and this should be close. you
then can adjust the sensitivity up or down if the wind noise
opens the mic without you talking o adjust down if you have
to TALK LOUDLY to get the mic to open. I have to adjust this
on the fly sometimes if extremely windy on the highway.
once you get them set closely you will have to depress the
INT button again to get back to regular radio functions.
once CB is set you will have to depress the cb button also
to get the display back to normal.
Hope this may help some, and not make it more confusing......
