I have the standard windshield off my 11 Limited that is too tall for me. If anyone is interested in buying it let me know.

Best wind protection by far is a Clarks Custom http://www.customflhtwindshields.net/index.html

They are also wider which keeps a lot of the wind out of your ears.
You won't believe how much better your radio is using a taller/wider windshield.

This is what I use. I have a 10" and 12" clarks custom. Its looks are different from the standard EG sheild and they offer excelent wind protection.

Clearview shields also have a real good selection and good prices.

Nobody has mentioned Klock Werks.
Is anyone else running a Klock Werks?

I run a 10-1/2" Clearview and an 8-1/2" Klock Werks.

Both excellent.

I've heard good and bad about klock werkz. What are your opinions, and description of how they work?

Clarks Customs look interesting and priced well.. What's the difference between the flat top and and half moon in terms of wind protection?

Also, they don't seem to have any recurve.. So while they may add extra protection in width, it doesn't look like it would add as much protection in height compared to the recurve shields, ie: clearview, LRS.. Thoughts?

Who says it is not good? I have been looking thru mine for years without any problems. If it weren't safe they would not put them on the bikes.

I picked my SG up a week ago. When I test rode it the buffetting was awfull. Part of my deal when I bought it was that they'd replace the shield. They put the tallest SG shield Harley makes on it and I've had no buffeting at all. It is also a lexan shield. I'm pretty pleased with it.

I think it's 15" tall and part # 58314-97
