Default Removing pads from Streamliner Pegs???????

How do you remove the rubber inserts on the Streamliner passenger pegs? There is no access from the bottom that I can tell and I hate to just pry them out of there and mess them up.

Any ideas?

It's been a year since I took mine out to powder coat but if I remember correct I just removed them from the bike, unscrewed the allen head at the end of the peg, the center "mount" comes out, then then just push the rubber to the inside. It's pretty easy once you have them off and in your hands.

Ok. I will try that. I just figured that removing the allen screw wouldn't help a thing. Shows what i know!
