Yea, I ended up going with the vivid black. I had them put on a riders backrest and a detach kit for my lowers, I might go with one for the tour pack a little later. Still up in the air as far as mufflers go, race tuner.... It acually dos'nt sound that bad with the stock mufflers.
So I figure I'll wait a little while before deciding witch way to go on that.
Mufflers or no mufflers ???
I'll try to get some pic's up soon. hopefully I wont have any problems posting them.
Thanks guys, all input is appreciated.
Congrats and good luck!!! I got my 11 Limited Vivid Black on Feb 26th and just got the 1K checkup yesterday. It is a little cod around here to ride but I am still getting some miles in.
Congrats, on your Limited! I've had mine since June 2010. I didn't have to test ride it, just sitting on it, I knew it was perfect. Fit like a glove. Plus when my wife said, "That's a beautiful bike, lets get it" helped make my decision alot easier!
First thing I put on was SE slip ons, stock was to quiet for my taste. Also didn't like looking through the windshield, with summer bugs it became quite dangerous. Put a 10" Smoked LRS on, works great! Enjoy your Limited, and ride safe!
Congrats on the new ride. If I could get more touring miles in, that is what I'd be riding. Oh well, I do have the Limited chrome/black rims on mine. Heading for Seattle this June. Can't wait.
