Shark audio install
Here's some images for my shark install. Sounds good at low speed but have been able to get out on the hiway yet. Only took a few hours to install, was pretty simple. Longest part was trying to get the speakers set up where i wanted them. Price was $112 for unit, $6 for alum. plate.

Update
Well, I was finally able to get out on the road to do some high speed testing yesterday. Temp was 30-35, and crosswinds of 15-20mph. My trip consisted of 30 miles to dealer and then 30 miles back home. The trip to the dealer I wore a half helmet with speeds up to 75 listening to just the fm mode on the amp. Sound quality was usable and reception fine, wind noise from the half helmet interfered some. On the trip back I used my full face helmet but used the mp3 player on my cellphone for audio source, (note output for cellphone is about 3/4 the output of portable cd player). Had to crank volume up all the way do to the low output of phone but sound quality was still good and could here all music that was played. Riding around town though at speeds from 0-55 sound was awesome and kind of on the loud side, had to keep the volume down to under 1/2 so as not to annoy ppl. Still need to do some tweaking of the bass and treble levels on the amp but all in all not bad for the price. Might look for a stand alone mp3 player with more output or fab up a mount for my portable cd player. All in all not a bad setup for the price just have to see how long it holds up.
