I just made a purchase for the Progressive 940s. I hope that these are the right ones for me. I knew that the stock shocks were just not cutting it for me, so I decided on the 940s and I am a little apprehensive about leaving air shocks for my 09 road glide.

Yep that's the right ones. They'll be a little shorter than your stockers.... but not really that much. At least not enough to really notice from the saddle. You may have to re-aim your headlights just a little, or not...... depends on if you want to pi$$ off oncoming traffic.

I'm with ya here, just ordered mine for my 09 serg, worried about the height being higher than what it is stock I know ride will be better but it has to look right too, how much did you pay for yours?
let us know how they turn out. been thinking of progressive but not sure on which ones - like toasters - too many choices. Let us know if you have clearance issues with the lean or pipes. thanks and ride safe!
I have the 940s and monotubes... Putting the 940's on this weekend, buddy Mike will be doing the monotubes for me, I am scared to fart around with the front end... Will be adding the Progressive Touring Link stabilizer when it comes in and the True-Track trackula pivot / motor mount / bushing kit... I am hoping that all the questionable handling characteristics will be addressed by $1500 in updates.. Let's see how it plays out.

I have the bike already lowered in the front and I have the 1" lowering bracket from ebay.
