We just ordered 940's from Kustom Emporium as well. They claim a 1" drop from stock. Is that accurate. If so, any issues with kickstand lean angle? Is the 1" drop accurate? We would be putting them on a 2011 CVO RGU
Thanks in advance
you wont get the drop, on a cvo. will stay the same. I measured nmine before and after, exactly same height at the rear

The "1 inch lower ride" only refers to those models that use the 13 inch shock. The Street Glide, Road Glide, and some of the CVO's are equiped with 12 inch shocks so these models will not be effected or lowered in any way.
I am saving up for the 940's to install on my 06 SG. Will probably have to wait until after the riding season since I just finsihed my cam swap.
We just called Progressive and the 13" 940 shock is designed to drop 1" with the weight of the bike and rider. This is what we hoped as the CVO RG Ultra has stock 13" shocks. I believe the other non Ultra CVO's have 12" shocks.
Anyone have any problems with kick stand lean using 940"s?

The bike does not lean as much as before and I always need to pay attention on turning the wheel all the way to the left. I also need to be observant to any slope on the surface that could shift the bike's weight over to the other side.
