I went the Kury/CD/Trucklight route. The headlight and the passing lamps were $425. That's a small price to be able to see at night, and be seen better during the day.
Train, are u talking about the 7" LED Trucklite? If so, do you like it better? I've been watching it on E-Bay.

That's the one. I got the headlamp from Custom Dynamics, the passing lamps (which were advertised as Kury but came in Trucklite boxes, same difference) from Phat Performance. I haven't used the Harley/JL lights, but given the reviews I'll take the lower price and the better daytime visibility.
I have the Kuryakyn 7" LED Truck-Lite. I am very happy with it. Veegee, If you buy one,
buy it from BK Rider. Make sure you call them and order it over the phone and they knock off an additional 10% off their E-Bay price. I got mine for $ 234.00 with free shipping. Their number is 1-800-349-3510.

Thanx Cougar & Train....appreciate the feedback. I may just have to break down....
Another thing to consider is a LED light will draw a lot less amps than conventional lights/accessories, so the electrical wont have to work as hard. Not to hijack the thread but has anyone heard of that european headlight bucketFOR Roadglides? I understand it makes for twice the light as the oem. You batwingers got off cheap, we have to buy 2 light systems.
