Thought I'd see what everyone's favorite cd/tape to listen too is. Right now I have Shooter Jennings "The Wolf" in the cd player. Anyone have a good mix cd ?
i plug my iphone into my stereo, i made a list of about 20 or so songs and play that it usually lasts me til i get to where im going but if i travel far i throw on the pandora app until i have no service and then its back to ipod... mostly classic rock occassional 60's.. and country none of this new crap... and never rap!!!
I have a MP3 disc (I change the folder on the NAS drive, but it's always the "ROAD MP3" folder) that currently has everything from opera (I think it's Lascia Ch'io Pianga from Rinaldo) through some Floyd / Fleetwood, some electronica (ABiCA, Lucid Dream Project, NIN, etc.), all the way up to and including Sepultura and Drowning Pool.
It's a bit of a mental complex... I'm an audio mastering engineer by trade, so I almost reflexively hate MP3 due to the half-horrific sound quality. But fitting 100 "decent" sounding tracks on one lousy CD is hard to beat -- And when I'm toolin' down the highway eating bugs, I'm not thinking much about the sound quality...
