I hate it when people use the forum to trash a company, or make some sweeping statement about a company based on some minor complaint. BUT.....the OP did NOT do any of that. He simply asked a question in a place where there are a lot of folks who could give an educated response. FuelMoto has an excellent reputation on this forum....I don't think they need anyone trying to trash this cat because he had a question about pricing. Relax.
I bought the Jackpots, exhaust end caps and PCV (programmed) from FM about a year ago. I believe with shipping it was $768.00. Had already purchased the Ness big sucker or would have got the package deal exclusively through them. Thought that was fair. Plug & play with a 2 hr effort. Big difference going two-up. Anticipate doing a cam upgrade and would likely rely on Jamie for advice/remapping. Without a doubt, a proven reputable first class act. Quote by dealer was $1200-1300 albeit Bub 7's.
I 'm sure it will all work out. Best of luck.
Exactly. Where better place to ask that question than a forum where so many members have done business with the company in question.
And yes, it's the service that counts. But even the best company will have a bad day, or not be able to provide the same level of service to everyone.
I re-read the original post, and didn't see anything that even approached poor etiquette. The dude was just asking a question from the people who should be able to answer it without getting all butt hurt that the question was even asked to begin with.

Some or should I say a lot of kybd cowboys out here just like to cause trouble . hell most of them prolly dont even know what the O/P was talking about.. Ive been following this thread and i certainly see a lot of useless replies . The guy did ask a valid question. To me saving money is good and then ill look at support and service only because I pretty much did all my mods myself . If they are offering a forum discount then he should call back and tell them he is a forum member (they have read this thread already) and ask for the discount. If there is none then he needs to come back and tell everyone. Offering a discount thats not a real discount isnt good practice ..
From: 12 year, Colombia, 4 years Mexico, currently In Kuwait, but Boston is HOME!!
I have heard very good things about for them for service and I am looking to get the stage 1 package, I emailed them three days ago and still have nto got a response, I know emailing is kind of lame, but I live in Colombia and calling is just way too much for me, plus the line will more than likely get disconnected, I was asking for quote on a certain number of items, Hope they get back to me, I would like to get the parts on as soon as I get home, that is once I find out how much $$. Maybe you guys know what this will cost from them:
SE Ventilator Black
Vance and Hines power duals
PC-V
Cams for the 103
Timmy that's sup rising about the lack of email response. I received an almost instant auto-response email from them followed up within an hour with a personal response with all my questions addressed This was just this passed Monday. I immediately placed my order with them and already received my stuff Friday and brought it to the shop today. Hopefully you'll hear something soon. Also if you call you'll get a human to answer immediately and they spend whatever time you need with them. Best of luck.
