2006 Model Owners
H-D went all out for their 95th anniversary and went all out again for 100th anniversary. My question to you is; shouldn't 2006 being the 25th anniversary of the buy back and the start of an era, be a special year? If you think about it 1981 is probably one of the most important dates in H-D history. AMF could have kept the MOCO and ran it even farther in the ground and we could all be sitting around talking about our Honyamasaki's! People were buying Indians a couple years ago, but we all knew it was just the name, not the heritage behind the name. The 2006 model year might be known best for not having the 96ci or the 6 speed but it will be known as the 25th anniversary of the revival of a great American company... [sm=biker2.gif]
