Hi folks, just a quick comment about the 50th anniversary editon of the sportster. The first year it was in production was 1957. That first year counts as a production year, so doing the math, wouldn't a 2006 be the 50th production year rather than the 2007? What are your thoughts?

But we're talking "50th Anniversary" , so think of it like a marriage instead of birthdays then.
You celebrate your 1st wedding anniversary exactly 1 year after being married for the whole year.
If you married in 1957 your 50th anniversary would be in 2007, not 2006.

EXACTLY the same as birthdays ... birthday = anniversary of the day you were born
you count the completed year just past - not the one you're currently in
