Default Back in Black!

I love my new Vivid Black 2010 Road King! I didnt realize goin in how much time and effort was involved in keeping a Black Harley lookin good. Ive seen alot of nice Black Touring Bikes on this forum. Any tricks or products to use to make the job easier and less time consuming? Black sure does show every little speck of dust but I Like the way it shines when clean.

I spray it down with S100 about once a week, hose it off, and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth.

Maguire's spray detailer and micro soft towel to shine it up after a couple rides. I use Maguire's car wash when it needs it and backpack blower to remove water after a bath.

Its interesting to hear different techniques. SD100 seems to clean well, I dont know if its the "hard water" where im at but it seems I have to at least lightly wax to make it look good. I like the backpack blower thing idea and the Zainos Ive heard before, is this a wax in a bottle? Im not tryin to be a smartass, but I noticed your bike is Sedona Orange, not black.

Wizards detail spray & microfiber cloth. Also, set bike on anti-static carpet pads in garage - helps w/static dust magnetism.

Just tryed the Black box from turtle wax. Works great on the scuffs. And has a nice detailer with it. Before that it was lemon pledge, good stuff.

+1 on the Wizards products, I really like mist and shine, takes 5 minutes before a ride and it looks like I just spent 3 hours washing and waxing it. Also on the leaf blower suggestion, you can usually pick up cheap electric ones at Home Depot I've been running one of those for a few years now, and it is the way to go with black

Turtle Wax Black Box. If you have a black vehicle, I think you should try it, following the instructions including latex gloves and plenty of good quality microfiber towels. As of now I am very pleased with the results. OF COURSE FOLLOW THE RULES OF REMOVING ALL THE DUST PARTICLES FIRST !

I've been using Lucas Slick Mist, works great on on the windshield and chrome as well. All shine'd up in a couple min.
