I have the stock higher windshield on my RG Ultra and I'm 6ft1. Its the right height for me. I'm guessing you can order the stock taller one from Harley that comes on the RG Ultra.
Man...I'm coming off a Road King with no windshield...why am I in this thread??? Hahaha I put about 450 miles on my new RGU the last few days, I thought the wind protection was pretty good in the stock setup, but again considering what I moved from...
Check out the Cee Bailey "Cee Glide" or the Windvest. There is a forum specifically about windshields on www.roadglide.org, everything you could ever want to know about windshields for the RG.
LRS-1 posted on here that LRS is developing a new windshield for the RG, but nothing's come out on it yet.

I guess I'm not alone in thinking that the stock windshield isn't all that bad. I came off an EGU and think the quality of the riding experience on the RGU is superior.
I may upgrade to a Cee Bailey or Windvest eventually, although LRS is developing a windshield for the RGU, so I'm going to wait and see before I decide one way or the other.
Good look on finding a good road glide shield. Seems like it's tricky to get one that both looks good and works well in most peoples opinions. As others have said, the lower defectors will will help some
I think I'm just going to run 2 shields depending on my riding for that time. I'm going to get an ugly-as-all-get-out tall shield for long hauls (I'm 6'3'') and a short tinted one for around town.
